Ranch vs. Blue Cheese Base
The great buffalo chicken pizza debate: ranch or blue cheese as the base? Ranch is milder and kid-friendly; blue cheese is tangy and bold. We vote blue cheese for adults, but this pizza is a winner either way.
Ingredients
- 2 cans (12.5 oz) chunk chicken, drained
- 1 pre-made pizza dough (12-14 inch) or store-bought crust
- β cup Frank's RedHot or buffalo sauce
- β cup ranch or blue cheese dressing (for the base)
- 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
- ΒΌ cup red onion, thinly sliced
- 2 stalks celery, thinly sliced
- Green onions and sesame seeds, for garnish
- Extra ranch drizzle, for serving

Preheat and prep. Preheat oven to 425Β°F. Stretch or roll dough onto a greased pizza pan or baking sheet.

Toss chicken in sauce. Mix drained chicken with buffalo sauce until evenly coated.

Build the pizza. Spread ranch or blue cheese dressing over the crust. Top with mozzarella, buffalo chicken, and red onion slices.

Bake and finish. Bake 12β15 minutes until crust is golden and cheese is bubbly. Top with celery, green onions, and a drizzle of extra ranch before slicing.
